Roaming K9 is about creating well-adjusted dogs and confident owners. Every dog has unique instincts, energy, and personality, and understanding these traits is the key to helping them thrive in everyday life and in challenging situations.
The philosophy of Roaming K9 focuses on real-world training, structure, and guidance since dogs learn through experience and consistent boundaries.
Life with a dog can be unpredictable. Dogs may face fears, test limits, or struggle in social situations, and owners may feel unsure how to respond. Roaming K9 provides practical tools and clear direction to make training and daily life more manageable, turning challenges into progress.
Ultimately, Roaming K9 is about clarity— for both dogs and the people who love them. Helping dogs become well-adjusted, capable, and giving owners the knowledge and confidence to truly understand and enjoy their dogs.

Before beginning any training, we must first start with an evaluation session. This allows the trainer to get to know your dog, observe behaviors, and understand your goals, while also giving you the opportunity to get to know the trainer.
Evaluations are 1 hour long.

Private lessons are one-on-one sessions tailored to you and your dog. Training takes place in your home or real-world settings so it fits into everyday life. Lessons begin as packages to build consistency and progress. After a package is completed, single lessons are available as needed.
Package option is 3, 5, or 8 lessons.

Hi, I’m Angelina, the founder of Roaming K9 LLC.
My journey with dogs started at a very young age. I’ve always been fascinated by animals, especially dogs. Growing up, I had all the dog plushies, movies, and books—but what caught my attention the most were police dogs. I thought they were the coolest thing ever. That interest pushed me to learn more about dogs, their breeds, their purpose, and how they’re trained.
I got my first personal dog, a German Shepherd, at the age of 9 after begging my parents for a very long time. That dog became my entry into the world of dog training. I started training as a preteen, which allowed me to build connections with experienced trainers and handlers early on. Over time, I worked with many different dogs. I volunteered with Guide Dogs for the Blind for several years, worked with shelter dogs, and spent a couple of years working at a pet hospital. I originally thought I wanted to go into the medical field, but eventually realized it wasn’t the right fit for me. During my teen years, I began training in dog sports, including French Ring, with my personal Belgian Malinois. This pushed me to keep learning and improving, and I found inspiration from trainers such as Michael Ellis, Ivan Balabanov, Kellie Connell, Denise Fenzi, and others.
Through years of hands-on experience, I’ve built the foundation that shaped me into the handler and trainer I am today. I strive to be knowledgeable, fair, and understanding when it comes to dog behavior. I started Roaming K9 to help owners live an easier life with their dogs and to help them include their dogs more into their everyday lives, just as I did growing up. My focus goes beyond basic obedience. I believe in helping owners understand their dogs and build a strong, clear relationship with them. My training approach is balanced and realistic, and I’m honest about what it truly means to own and live with a dog. Dog training can feel overwhelming, confusing, and even frustrating at times but you don’t have to figure it out alone. With genuine passion and years of experience, my goal is to educate owners, guide you, support you, and help make life with your dog clearer and more enjoyable.
